Windham Brannon, an INSIDE Public Accounting Top 200 Firm, announced this month the appointment of Scott Spohn as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective May 06, 2024.
Spohn will be responsible for overseeing Windham Brannon’s day-to-day operations in collaboration with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Partner Heidi LaMarca, while also fulfilling the firm’s mission to serve its clients and its people. Spohn will also be charged with providing leadership, vision and direction to optimize the firm’s operational and financial process, facilitate strategic planning objectives and monitor progress, evaluate the financial impact of business opportunities and enhance the firm’s performance.

Spohn brings more than 20 years of experience in driving growth for consulting practices, particularly in using innovative products and services to help organizations navigate through significant change. Throughout his career, Spohn has successfully demonstrated his use of proprietary service offerings to propel revenue and advance client satisfaction. Prior to joining Windham Brannon, he worked as the Healthcare Consulting Practice and Innovation Leader for a Top 10 U.S. firm, where he was responsible for performance, growth and innovation for the firm’s healthcare practice. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Spohn is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA, the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
