Let the Good Times Roll with August Events at The Works

The dog days of summer are here and to beat the scorching heat, The Works has prepared a full calendar of family-friendly events throughout August! From live music every weekend, karaoke and trivia nights, axe-throwing competitions, a Beyoncé pop-up bar where one lucky guest will win tickets to see Queen Bey when her tour stops in Atlanta and the third annual Upper Westside PUPFEST, there is always something for everyone to enjoy at the Upper Westside’s largest mixed-use gathering place.

Camp Renaissance

Friday, August 4 from 5 – 8 p.m.

Grab your crew and head over to The Camp for Camp Renaissance, a Beyonce-themed night for the Beyhive! Sed the Saint will be providing an energetic mix of everyone’s favorite tunes by Beyonce. Grab a beer from Dr. Scofflaw’s Brewing or a delicious bite to eat from Chattahoochee Food Works and enjoy a fresh mix to kick off the weekend. This event is free and open to all ages. CAMPCHELLA: Saturday Music Series

Saturday, August 5, 12 and 19 at 2 p.m.

Spend your Saturday afternoon at The Works with friends and family while enjoying live music at The Camp! Bask in the summer weather and grab your favorite beer from Dr. Scofflaw’s Brewing or a tasty treat from one of the many food stalls inside Chattahoochee Food Works. Happy Campers: Sunny Saturdays

Saturday, August 5, 12 and 19 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Summer is coming to an end, but there is still time for some fun with Happy Campers: Sunny Saturdays at The Camp! Each event features a DJ paired with a new activity or craft that will engage the little ones in a fun and educational way. A parent or guardian must stay with each child during the program. This is best suited for ages 4-9, but everyone is welcome! After the program, enjoy a delicious lunch from Chattahoochee Food Works or Fox Bros BBQ. Wellness at The Works: Balance + Boba

Wednesday, August 9 at 7 p.m.

Calling all yogis! Grab your yoga mats and head over to The Camp during the Wellness at The Works series featuring a refreshing yoga session led by Haven Yoga! Each ticket purchase includes one complimentary Boba Tea beverage from Unbelibubble Tea House located inside Chattahoochee Food Works. Participants can choose between Peach Oolong Tea, Lychee Green Tea or Pink Paradise with up to two toppings. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Agape Youth & Family Center, a community partner of The Works. This class is BYOM (bring your own mats!). Renaissance Eleganza: Beyoncé Inspired Pop-Up Bar

Thursday, August 10 from 8 – 11 p.m.

It’s time to get in formation for Beyoncé in Atlanta! Join Power 96.1, 105.3 the Beat and Chattahoochee Food Works for a unique pop-up bar experience dedicated to Queen Bey. Guests will be welcomed by Beyoncé’s top hits, immersing everyone in an atmosphere filled with her infectious energy. The pop-up bar shines a spotlight on its one-of-a-kind cocktail menu, with each drink inspired by a Beyoncé song. At the end of the night, a lucky guest will be walking away with floor tickets to see Beyoncé on the Renaissance Tour on August 14 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Live at Five at The Camp

Friday, August 11, 18 and 25 from 5 – 8 p.m.

Kick off the weekend with an evening of live music at The Camp! Grab your favorite beer from Dr. Scofflaw’s Brewing or a cocktail from the Center Bar at Chattahoochee Food Works. Dance to an eclectic mix of old and new crowd favorites with your friends and family to wind down from the week. This is a free, family-friendly event. Grab your friends and join The Works at The Camp for a one-of-a-kind night full of music and live art! This monthly event features an exciting collaboration between a local DJ and a live paint artist who will create a unique painting in real time. The style of the piece will be reflective of and inspired by the music, and guests will have the opportunity to win the finished piece. Summer Jams at Adelina Social Goods

Thursday, August 17 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Join Adelina Social Goods for Summer Jams, a celebration of fresh local flavors with Atlanta chef jam master Regina Nikola Hild of Regina’s Farm Kitchen. American Axes: Battle of the Babes Axe Throwing Tournament

Foxeria del Sol Hatch Chile Fest 

Sunday, August 20 from 2 – 6 p.m.

Join Taqueria del Sol and Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q for the return of their beloved Foxeria del Sol Hatch Chile Fest at The Works! 100% of ticket sales will go towards Hogs for the Cause, a music festival benefiting pediatric cancer, and will be distributed to families in Atlanta and the North Georgia market through a partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Join The Works for the third annual Upper Westside PUPFEST benefitting the Atlanta Humane Society!
