Jackson Healthcare, a family of highly specialized healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, today announced that it has been named to the newly published Fortune 2022 Best Workplaces for Women list. This marks the third time the organization has been named to the prestigious listing.
Great Place to Work, a research and consulting firm, analyzed the confidential employee survey responses of over 640,000 women to compile the list. Leveraging its proprietary For All methodology, the firm measures the differences in survey responses from women compared to their peers, evaluating the quality and consistency of women’s experiences in the workplace. To be list-eligible, organizations must be Great Place to Work-Certified, employ at least 50 women, have at least 20 percent of non-executive managers who are women and at least one executive who is a woman. The annual list is published by Fortune.
“It’s an incredible honor to be named again among the top workplaces for women in the nation,” said Shane Jackson, president, Jackson Healthcare. “Women represent more than two-thirds of Jackson Healthcare’s associate base and play an active role in advancing our mission of improving the delivery of patient care and the lives of everyone we touch. Reflective of our strong culture, we remain committed to creating experiences and opportunities that support the women who work for us and all of our more than 1,900 associates across the country.”
The “Best Workplaces for Women” list is the only company culture award in the country that selects honorees based on how fairly women say they are treated at their workplace.
“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces for Women and their commitment to ensuring equity for women at every level of the organization,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “These companies showed up for women in new ways to help them cope with challenges they face wherever they are—both inside and outside of work. Women in these companies are seen, heard and valued.”
In addition to being selected as a “Best Workplace for Women,” Great Place to Work and Fortune recently named Jackson Healthcare to its “Best Workplaces in Health Care” list for the fifth straight year. The organization has been Great Place to Work-Certified for six consecutive years. To learn more about the methodology, click here.
