Hammond & Associates, one of the largest Black-owned MEP engineering firms in the Southeast, has opened a new office in Houston, Texas. This expansion will enhance Hammond’s capabilities in this key market as the firm continues to see significant growth.
Hammond & Associates has contributed to major initiatives across the southeast that impact the community including public parks, municipal, multi-family housing, education, aviation, and maritime projects.
“We have the experience of providing MEP engineering services for the Port of Galveston for several of their new cruise terminals along with other important projects in the Houston metro area, so we are excited to continue building relationships in the region and look forward to being a part of the Houston community,” said Nate Hammond, President of Hammond & Associates. “This gives us an opportunity to expand our offerings and continue building on the legacy started by my father more than 35 years ago.”
The Houston office will provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage engineering solutions for both the public and private sectors on new and existing buildings in the area.
Hammond & Associates’ Houston office, located at 5718 Westheimer Road, will begin operating June 1st
