Girl Scouts of Great Atlanta Announce New Board Member

Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta (GSGATL) today announced the addition of  

Denise Quarles – Siemens, U.S.A. Head of External Affairs, SE Region
Board of Directors and Board Development Committee

Denise’s former roles include Chief City Executive for the Southeast Region for Siemens USA, where she served as a liaison for local governments to help plan the implantation of smart city infrastructure and technology projects throughout target cities. Before Siemens, she held roles including the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability for the City of Atlanta, VP of Environmental Affairs at Southwire Company, and Executive Business partner and Operations Manager at Daimler AG.

“We’re honored and grateful to welcome Denise to our board,” said Amy Dosik, CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. “The diversity of the board’s expertise is invaluable in developing strategic goals ensuring the Girl Scout leadership experience and its promise of adventure, friendship, and community service is available to all girls.”  

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance, fiscal oversight, and continued growth of GSGATL, which serves girls in 34 counties.
