Georgia Power recently provided a $5,000 donation to provide breakfast to Atlanta’s first responders. On Thursday, November 12, the Atlanta Fire & Rescue Foundation will be providing meals to the 36 fire stations in the city as a thank you for their hard work and dedication.
An in-person recognition breakfast at the Georgia Aquarium has been re-scheduled to May 2021 due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
Georgia Power will be joining other guests and sponsors on November 12th in a livestream event of the breakfast deliveries with a special video presentation from Atlanta Fire Chief Randall B. Slaughter.
The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department represents 1,100 men and women who protect the lives and property within the City of Atlanta. Georgia Power is proud to support these first responders across the city, as well as those across the state.
