Georgia Power recently provided a donation of $25,000 to the Families First, Inc.’s Family Recovery Fund to help mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and social injustice in the metro Atlanta area.
Families First works to improve outcomes for children, youth, individuals and families at every stage of life by providing them with mental health support, coaching, early education, parenting skills, and supportive housing via prevention and intervention techniques that help strengthen families, as well as build resiliency, no matter what challenges they may be facing.
On July 23rd, Families First will be hosting a virtual interfaith unity breakfast that will bring Atlanta’s most inspiring voices to offer unity and uplift the community. Bentina Terry,Georgia Power’s senior vice president of Metro Atlanta and Corporate Relations, will be a featured speaker and share an uplifting message for first responders as they put their own health and well-being on the line during these unprecedented times.
