Endless Summertime Fun with The Works’ July Events Lineup

Summer is better at The Works and with a calendar full of family-friendly events this July, there is something for everyone to do at the Upper Westside’s largest mixed-use gathering place. Enjoy comedy under the stars, live music, activities for the kids, shopping and so much more!

The full July events lineup is outlined below:

Chattahoochee Food Works: Karaoke Night

Every Thursday in July from 7 – 10 p.m.

Sing your heart out at Karaoke Night! Come to Chattahoochee Food Works on Thursday nights for fun times at Karaoke Night hosted by iHeart Radio on-air personality, Kalv. Grab a tasty bite to eat from one of the 31 food vendors in the food hall and a beverage from the Center Bar. This event is free and open to the public. Midsummer Night’s Floral Workshop: Adelina Social Goods

Thursday, July 7th at 7 p.m.

Join Adelina Social Goods for a lovely summer night out. Enjoy cocktails and charcuterie while learning how to create your own stunning and professional-looking floral arrangement! Adelina Social Goods will be serving up complimentary cocktails and charcuterie all evening long, and Lineage Florals will be on hand to share their expert floral design tips and tricks. At the end of the night, you’ll come away with a beautiful arrangement that will last for days, and a unique vessel to reuse!

Dance to an eclectic mix of old and new crowd favorite tunes with your friends and family and wind down from the week. This is a free, family-friendly event. Happy Campers: Wednesday Kids Play

Wednesday, July 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. – noon

Wednesday Kids Play series is back this summer! Bring the little ones to The Works each Wednesday for crafts, activities and a variety of featured guests that will engage the kids in a fun and educational game. A parent or guardian must stay with each child during the program and is best suited for ages 4-9, but everyone is welcome! After the program, enjoy a delicious lunch from Chattahoochee Food Works or Fox Bros BBQ. Each session will be held at the Spur Stage and is weather dependent. Comedy in The Camp

Thursday, July 14 at 8 p.m.

Get ready to laugh until you cry with Comedy in The Camp! Local showrunner and comedian, Damon Sumner, rounds up some of Atlanta’s brightest talent for a night full of endless laughter. Enjoy social commentary and personal anecdotes from a diverse lineup of performers in a socially-distanced outdoor setting. Yappy Hour: Pup Meetup

Thursday, July 14, 21 and 28 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Bring your furry friends to The Works for Yappy Hour on The Spur! Grab a refreshing drink from Dr. Scofflaw’s Brewing, a delicious meal from Chattahoochee Food Works and kick back and relax with live music while your pup has a ball playing with others. Each Yappy Hour will feature one pup-focused vendor offering a variety of products, treats and surprises. This is a free, family-friendly event. American Axes: Trivi-Axe

Thursday, July 14, 28 at 7 p.m.

Only the smartest axe will win at Trivi-Axe! Bring your friends, your sharpest wit and your axe-cellent throwing skills for a night of trivia and axe throwing. Fuel up with a delicious bite to eat at Chattahoochee Food Works before putting your skills to the test during the one-hour round of trivia and axe throwing. There is a six-person limit per team. Summer Cocktail Workshop

Thursday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Join Adelina Social Goods at the Chattahoochee Food Works patio bar for an evening of mixing, shaking and sipping! Guests will learn how to make three specialty summer cocktail recipes and taste other fabulously refreshing summer cocktails along the way. After the workshop, guests will receive a take-home cocktail gift from Adelina Social Goods with a recipe card and ingredients to make your favorites at home. Glow Yoga

Friday, July 22 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Grab your yoga mats and head over to The Works for a refreshing session of Glow Yoga with Haven Yoga! Arrive early to deck yourself out with neon paint and meet other yoga enthusiasts. Gentle Flow Yoga will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. and the class includes a series of postures to increase balance, strength and flexibility while encouraging mindfulness. About The Works

The Works is an 80-acre adaptive mixed-use development in the heart of Atlanta’s Upper Westside, located off Chattahoochee Ave. near Topgolf Midtown. The Works’ vision includes distinctive retail and dining, imaginative experiences and inspired gathering areas in an interconnected environment, preserving the character of Atlanta’s historic industrial Upper Westside.
