Bellyard, West Midtown Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, unveils a refreshed, seasonal menu for its American tavern-inspired eatery Drawbar, perfect for diners to savor the season’s freshest ingredients. The hotel lounge offers a premier culinary and mixology experience, featuring an inventive menu of locally sourced and Southern-inspired eats along with ingenious craft cocktails and more. Alongside its new menu, the lounge – which has quickly become a hotspot for locals and visitors alike – is also debuting all-new augmented reality libations.
New menu additions include delights like Peach Ricotta Toast, a spin on breakfast toast with fresh peaches; blueberry ricotta; toasted almonds and a drizzle of white balsamic honey. Small plates feature Crawfish Sweet Corn Hushpuppies with chipotle honey for a slight kick; Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs; Jerk Grilled Mahi and more. A full Drawbar menu can be found by visiting drawbaratl.com.
“My focus in creating a culinary journey at Drawbar is driven by dishes that serve up seasonality and unexpected flair to create a memorable experience for each person we serve,” explains Chef Christina Wai. “When I think of cooler months, crave-worthy comfort food comes to mind… the inspiration behind the latest menu additions.”
Eight new cocktails are also making their mark this fall. Electric Earth is a tequila-forward cocktail that brings the heat with its jalapeno lime syrup. The Georgia Martinez and Famous Last Word are for gin lovers and deliver refreshing, fruity flavor profiles. Bourbon and whiskey fans will favor the Old Fashioned 2.0 and the Drivin’ Me Nuts, with a touch of sweet vermouth. The Sunsetter, which consists of St. Germain, lemon, rosemary syrup and pinot noir, is sure to satisfy vodka lovers.
The stars of the show are Drawbar’s new, cutting-edge augmented reality cocktails. The Bellyard Bound perfectly melds Captain Morgan, St. Germain, lemon and blackberries – and with the simple download of a smart phone app, guests can view their drink in a whole new light as an animated, 3-D train appears in the cocktail, paying homage to the area’s rich, railroad history. The Betti is a delightful, dessert cocktail with New Amsterdam, Kahlua and Baileys. Through the lens of a cellphone camera, Bellyard’s iconic cow Betti playfully makes an appearance with the drink.
