The Cottages at Woodland Terrace in Milledgeville will have their official grand opening and ribbon cutting for their Assisted Living residence on Wednesday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. These 33 one-and-two bedroom suites opened in April 2020, though the ribbon cutting and grand opening was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce will conduct the ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by brief remarks from several local and regional dignitaries in-attendance. Light refreshments, including “Cottage Cookies” will be served, and guided tours of the new 35,000 square foot Assisted Living main cottage will be available.
The Cottages at Woodland Terrace opened in 2004, as a gated community with one-level patio homes for all-inclusive independent living. With the addition of the Assisted Living residence, The Cottages now offers the next level of carefree living to seniors from the area, as well as those who want to be close to nearby family members.
