Center Parc Credit Union was proud to attend Georgia State University’s graduation ceremonies – and to coordinate with the Georgia State University Athletic Department to bestow a special gift upon the graduating class of 2021.
“Center Parc is excited to engage with students – and soon to be alumni – of GSU every chance we get,” said Andrea Hansberry, community development liaison for Center Parc. “To celebrate the first of GSU’s graduating classes since the start of our relationship with the school, we knew we wanted to give something meaningful to these accomplished students.”
Graduates who walked in GSU graduation ceremonies last week received a season pass for two to all Georgia State Panther’s football home games courtesy of Center Parc and the GSU Athletics Department. They also received a commemorative Center Parc magnet and water bottle.
Center Parc’s gift and presence at graduation further cements the pledge the credit union has taken to become a key financial resource for the GSU community. Center Parc is committed to supporting the financial needs of GSU students, graduates, staff, fans and people in the surrounding neighborhoods, having just opened a second branch in the area at 72 Georgia Avenue.
“We are so appreciative of the investment Center Parc Credit Union has taken in our University, our recent graduates and our student-athletes,” said Leigh Barton, associate athletic director for development at Georgia State. “We are always looking for ways to engage with students across campus and Center Parc Credit Union continues to help us with engagement opportunities. We are only one year into a great relationship which is providing substantial opportunities for both parties and we look forward to what lies ahead for both Georgia State and Center Parc Credit Union.”
Center Parc representatives also will be attending upcoming GSU orientations to raise awareness about the benefits of credit union membership among incoming students.
