I know location is important, but does it match your approval amount/budget?
I’m huge on setting realistic expectations for my buyers.
Inventory is still low and there are many buyers, so things are competitive.
You’re gonna have to switch locations a little bit or wait. Look at your approval amount first, then let your agent help you determine where it fits best.
Also if you do find something listed right at your budget in your preferred location, are you willing to offer more than list price? Are you willing to pay your own closing costs?
Homebuying right now is very realistic but please have realistic expectations!
