Foot traffic to retail, restaurant and entertainment establishments in Atlanta have seen a 36% increase since the start of the year, according to the brick-and-mortar marketing experts at Zenreach. And that’s not all – visits to restaurants and dining establishments have seen an 39% increase in Atlanta since January 1st, 2021.
These numbers are 16% below the national average though, which shows a 52% all industry increase in foot-traffic, and a 52% foot-traffic increase within the restaurant industry.
Nationwide, all industry growth is only at a 52% increase since the start of the year.
“The data shows that customer foot traffic to physical stores and restaurants has flattened over the month of July, which we consider a reflection of the growing concern over new Delta variants. As mask mandates and restrictions are reinstated, we are expecting to see foot traffic slow across the board.” says Megan Wintersteen, VP of Marketing for Zenreach.
