CBRE announced the sale of Plaza Fiesta, a 343,748-sq.-ft. grocery-anchored marketplace in Northeast Atlanta that has served the region’s Hispanic community for decades. Asana Partners acquired the property for an undisclosed price.
Chris Decoufle, Kevin Hurley, Matt Karempelis, Mike Burkard and Steve Shields of CBRE’s National Retail Partners – Southeast represented the seller, Sarofim Realty Advisors, and procured the buyer.
Plaza Fiesta, located at 4166 Buford Highway NE, is anchored by a Mercado Fresco grocery store, Ross Dress for Less, Planet Fitness, Ollie’s, Aaron’s, a freestanding CVS and a QuikTrip. Spread of 32 acres, Plaza Fiesta’s main market is home to over 243 tenants. The property was 95 percent leased at the time if sale.
“Representing Plaza Fiesta in the marketplace was an honor and a career hallmark for our team. The property is the hub for the region’s growing Hispanic community and offers a truly authentic retail experience unlike any other in Atlanta and beyond,” said Mr. Hurley, Senior Vice President with CBRE in Atlanta. “We have been huge fans and patrons of Plaza Fiesta for many years and watched it thrive under thoughtful ownership and management. We are thrilled to have found a new sponsor that will continue to be a great steward of such a special property.”
