Atlanta Attorney John D. Hadden Joins Penn Law

Atlanta trial attorney John D. Hadden has joined Penn Law. Hadden will focus his practice in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Hadden has been practicing law in the Atlanta area for almost 20 years. Prior to joining Penn Law, he founded his own firm, Turkheimer & Hadden, later The Hadden Law Firm. An experienced trial and appellate lawyer, he has authored two respected treatises on Georgia trial practice: Green’s Georgia Law of Evidence and Georgia Law of Torts – Trial Preparation and Practice. He also wrote the evidence chapter in the multi-volume national Thomson Reuters treatise Handling Motor Vehicle Accident Cases (2nd edition). Hadden is also a frequent lecturer and instructor on litigation and personal injury practice.

He joins six other attorneys at Penn Law including: Darren Penn, Bill Ballard, Alexandra “Sachi” Cole, Laura Penn, Jim Seifter and Kevin Ketner.

Hadden has been recognized by SuperLawyers since 2011 and since 2019 has been named to the Georgia SuperLawyers Top 100 list. He was also named one of Georgia’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Fulton County Daily Report in 2015 and recognized by Georgia Trend in its annual “Legal Elite” issue.

He has handled a wide variety of trial and appellate matters in state and federal courts throughout Georgia and has been involved in more than 100 appellate cases at the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
