Judicial Innovations, an Atlanta-based technology company, has been named one of the Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the organization announced today.
“The Top 40 Awards recognize and honor this year’s most innovative and impactful technology companies in Georgia,” said Larry K. Williams, president and CEO of TAG. “Each year TAG recognizes the Georgia-based companies that are focused on the creation, development and dissemination of technology to keep Georgia’s technology ecosystem in the global spotlight.”
Judicial Innovations provides government agencies with free, cloud-based platforms for online traffic court resolution, government payments and probation management.
Its most recent offering, Online Traffic Resolution, allows courts to deliver fast, COVID-safe justice for drivers charged with a traffic violation. Defendants can contest and pay their traffic tickets online without having to enter a courtroom, making justice accessible for everyone. The platform links with courts’ case management systems for a seamless implementation.
The ongoing pandemic has caused a backlog in traffic court calendars throughout the country as many traffic courts remain closed for in-person proceedings. Judicial Innovations’ Online Traffic Resolution allows courts to get back to operating quickly and efficiently.
“Having served in local law enforcement for 25 years, I have seen firsthand the need for a solution like online dispute resolution,” said Judicial Innovations CEO and founder Jarrett Gorlin. “We are proud to offer courts in Georgia and around the country the ability to adjudicate traffic tickets online – and it is truly an honor to be recognized by TAG for our innovative technology.”
Companies selected for the Top 40 will be showcased in a virtual exhibition at the 2021 Georgia Technology Summit on April 28 and 29.
