Matthew Nicholson, an experienced leader of complex architectural projects, has joined Leo A Daly’s Atlanta Studio, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in healthcare, education, and public sector design and construction. As Project Manager, he will lead teams of designers and engineers on healthcare, Federal, and local government projects.
Nicholson’s background includes assisting his clients in developing comprehensive multi-year design, construction, and maintenance plans in order to secure approval from boards, governing authorities and voters. A tested project manager, he has successfully completed approximately $2 billion in demanding projects with nuanced phasing plans, accelerated schedules, and tight budgets. He is a graduate of the highly respected architecture program at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a registered architect and NCARB certified. During the past three years in Atlanta, Nicholson has completed master planning, life safety studies and 12 separate projects at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
