Atlanta-Based Inovity Acquires ADC Integrated Systems Inc. to Expand Tennessee Presence

Inovity, an Atlanta-based business process improvement company and specialty IT systems integrator, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ADC Integrated Systems Inc. (ADC), a Memphis-based corporation specializing in automated data collection hardware, software and systems.

The private acquisition of ADC allows Inovity to broaden its diverse offering of workflow-automation solutions and extend its geographical footprint in Tennessee. By adding the expertise of the entire ADC sales and technical team, Inovity also improves its ability to serve its customer base with increased staff.

According to Inovity owner and Executive Vice President, Steve George, “We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome the ADC team and their customers to our growing organization at Inovity. The combination of the two companies will allow us to expand our presence even further in the southeast and provide ADC’s clients access to an even deeper bench of resources and a larger breadth of technology solutions.” George continued, “With our process-driven approach and focus on solving customer problems with creative data automation solutions, we are confident in the value our two organizations will be able to provide, now that we are one.”

ADC President, Robert Cooper, commented, “The match between ADC and Inovity is just about as perfect as you can get, from the products we sell and the vendors we represent to the types of customers we serve. Most importantly, while the organizations align on strategy and direction, we both have the same basic philosophy of putting customers first. This fundamental, customer-first culture will ensure our clients are well-served under the Inovity umbrella, and we are all excited to be part of the Inovity team.”

The acquisition of all ADC assets became effective on October 16, 2020 and operations will proceed under the Inovity name, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with leadership under Jack A. Tinsley, Jr., President, and Steven T. George, Executive Vice President.
