The owner of a popular Virginia-Highland barbecue joint is planning a new sandwich shop along the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail.
Matt Coggin, who opened DBA Barbecue in 2009, will launch DBA Sandwich Company as a stall inside Old Fourth Ward’s Irwin Street Market. Coggin has signed a lease at the market, and work on “minimal updates and renovations” to his space will begin soon. Coggin is targeting Nov. 1 as a potential opening date, according to a news release.
