Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the promotions of John V. Lopez to Managing Director and Bo Stuart to Senior Associate. Lopez and Stuart, along with Senior Managing Director Steve Hall, comprise Atlanta’s Healthcare Advisory Services team, which provides agency leasing and tenant advisory services to owners and tenants across the Southeast.
With more than 30 years of commercial real estate and healthcare advisory experience, Lopez has helped grow Transwestern’s Atlanta healthcare portfolio to 2.3 million square feet by cultivating relationships with national healthcare real estate firms, including American Healthcare Investors, Lillibridge Healthcare Services, and Healthcare Trust Inc. Before joining Transwestern in 2018, Lopez handled approximately 1.3 million square feet as HealthCare REIT’s Regional Director of Leasing.
“John’s vast market and industry knowledge are invaluable to our team and our clients,” said Hall. “His relationship-building skills and commitment to putting client’s interests at the forefront have been instrumental in expanding our reach across the Southeast.”
Stuart began his real estate career in Transwestern’s summer associate program before rising to analyst and associate positions. He has facilitated transactions for Clayton Eye Associates, Kidney Care Center, and Kidney Specialists of Georgia. In his expanded role, Stuart will lead the team’s prospecting, research, and marketing initiatives.
The team’s notable recent accomplishments include a 36,000-square-foot expansion at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Alabama on behalf of American Healthcare Investors and fully preleasing Brookhaven Medical Center II in Atlanta on behalf of G.H. Anderson. The team also facilitated the $29.8 million sale of Brookhaven Medical Center II to Anchor Health Properties.
“Atlanta’s Healthcare Advisory Services team has achieved an impressive record of success, due in large part to the addition of John and Bo,” said Bruce Ford, Transwestern East Region President. “I’m extremely proud of how the team has weathered current challenges to consistently exceed client expectations. With their diligence and dedication, we expect the service line to continue growing.”
