Reagan Medical Center, one of metro Atlanta’s leading providers of care across a broad spectrum of patient needs, today announced it has entered into a partnership with APEX Spine and Neurosurgery, one of the region’s most respected brain and spinal physician groups. APEX has co-located, and is now serving patients, in Reagan’s Hamilton Mill, Grayson and Johns Creek facilities, and a new office in Alpharetta.
Led by experienced physicians Robert Ayer, MD, Bethwel Raore, MD, Mairaj Sami, MD and Dave Seecharan, MD, and a highly skilled clinical staff, APEX offers comprehensive treatment for brain and spine issues, including back pain, brain and nervous system disorders, tumors and other common afflictions.
The APEX physicians are the only neurosurgery trauma specialists practicing in Gwinnett County.
“This partnership brings two of the region’s most trusted healthcare providers together in three patient care centers serving a region of metro Atlanta and north Georgia that has grown well beyond a million residents,” said Michael Boblitz, CEO of Reagan Medical Center. “With that growth has come an increasing need for top quality, more accessible and affordable healthcare options and we are pleased to help meet that need.
“Reagan’s 21 years of experience in primary and urgent care, wellness, and occupational medicine, combined with its advanced imaging capabilities, is a perfect complement to the care APEX offers,” Boblitz added.
Reagan and APEX patients now have the convenience of seamlessly managing a broad range of medical needs under one roof with physicians they know and trust.
“In joining with Reagan Medical Center, we have built a powerful healthcare brand that will further enhance our respective abilities to fulfill patient needs more efficiently and effectively,” said Ayer. “The physicians and staff of both groups have known and respected one another for a long time, and we are truly elated to be officially working together and providing world-class healthcare to the citizens of this region.”
“Combining prompt access across several locations with the lowest prices for care, such as a $400 MRI or $225 CT scan, is a perfect solution to address rapidly spiraling medical costs that were a barrier for many patients,” Seecharan noted.
