Delta Community Credit Union is pleased to announce plans to open a new branch in Conyers, Georgia by summer 2025. The Conyers branch will be the Credit Union’s 31st in metro Atlanta and first in Rockdale County. The future location will allow Delta Community to better serve existing members and extend support to consumers in Conyers and the surrounding communities, including Stonecrest, Lithonia, Covington and Lakeview Estates.
The branch will open in the Salem Gate Market Shopping Center at 1448 Old Salem Road Southeast, next to one of the shopping center’s anchor stores, Floor & Décor. The recently-built shopping center is well situated near the intersection of Interstate 20 and Georgia State Route 138 as well as in close proximity to many popular shops and restaurants.
“We have proudly served Rockdale County since 2019 and currently count nearly 9,000 local residents as Delta Community members,” CEO Hank Halter said. “Our institution was founded 85 years ago to offer expert guidance and superior value on the banking services that everyone needs to manage their personal finances. This investment is part of that ongoing commitment and will enable us to bring more choice and convenience to the local market.”
A team of 10 full-time employees will staff the nearly 5,000-square-foot branch, which includes space for residential lending or financial planning professionals and two 24-hour ATMs that function as interactive teller machines (ITMs).
